


            Information on using DCC in a network environment


In order to user DCC in a network environment and to allow
multiple individual user configurations, you can define a
directory which DCC will search for certain configuration files.

This directory is set with the environtment variable DCC

Example : SET DCC=C:\DCC50 <Return>

If there is no entry under this variable, DCC will use the
default program directory.

The following files are expected to be in the configuration directory:

DCC.DSK       (Desktop)
DCC.CFG       (Configuration)
DCC.INI       (Configuration)
DCC.MNU       (Menu file)
COLORSUF.CFG  (Color setup for file windows)
RESIDENT.INI  (Setup file for resident mode)
ARCHIV.INI    (Setup file for compression utilities)
*.DSS         (Screen saver modules)
*.SYN         (Setup files for Syntax-Highlighting)
*.ADD         (Add-On files (optional))
